Alexander Curran was born on the 19th of may 1987,
We sadly lost him on the 16th of september 1987. Alexander was due mid september but was born 4 months early, he was kept in the special care unit and was kept on a ventilater as his lungs were not yet strong enough for him to breathe on his own.He weighed just 1lb 10oz.At 12 days old he nearly died but managed to pull through! As time went by alexander had lots of ups and downs but after 4 and a half months he got very poorly,the oxygen 2 his brain was damaging it and he wouldnt be able 2 breathe on his own. This means that the ventilater was the only thing keeping Alex alive. Docters said 'Dignity or Pain'. At this time alexander weighed 5lb 4oz.Dignity was chosen, it was the 16th of september when baby Alex took his last breath.

Hi baby boy hope your well ... Can't believe your going to be 24 on Thursday ... The word old springs to mind hehehe. Anywho it's been a sad day today for the family as Grandad passed over to be with you and out of pain. Make sure you party hard with him on Thursday get a few vodka and cokes down his neck!! ... I havent stopped crying and I am going to miss him so much. Make sure he knows please my beautsy boy. Kaleb getting big now being a buggums boy as usual hehe ...
